Dear Community Partner,
You are cordially invited to join the South Carolina Partnership of Disability Organizations at the 2017 Disability Advocacy Day for Community Engagement. The goal for this day is to invite community partners just like you to take a pledge to be committed to engaging more with the disabilities community. These days is designed to layout ideas, plans, and needs of this community and create connections with one another. We all offer something different and bring something to the table to make a more diverse community.
Join us at the South Carolina State House on March 1, 2017, to celebrate the connections being made every day between the business community and those with disabilities. Your involvement in this day means so much to people like Lee Lee, who is a 5 year Brain Injury Survivor that has now been able to volunteer with Target in making someone’s Christmas a little brighter. With her connection with Target she may not have been able to this on her own. But with your Engagement Pelage you can do the same for someone else.
Along with taking the pledge of being more inclusive, you can commit to being involved. The SCPDO partners are here but need help from you to bring more awareness to the community about different disabilities and how important the community is to everyone living in it.
We hope to see you on March 1, 2017 to start our journey together, as we bridge two communities bettering one.
Contact us to RSVP and become one step closer to making your pledge. Your only commitment is to come out and learn more and engage in conversations with other to make long lasting connections!
All the Best,
The South Carolina Partnership of Disability Organizations
